This research group creates environments and experiences for undertaking research in engineering education knowledge assessment so that we can find the E2URE2KA moments. We aim to discover and develop ways to help teachers and students feel confident, teachers practice great pedagogy, and identify and measure engineering and design thinking with more seamless, unobtrusive methods that help students.
Our research foci include:

- engineering education in K-12 formal and informal settings
- teacher professional development
- development of innovative data collection tools and research methods
